Hi
Which module are you using now? sim340dz or M20?If you are using M20,I recommend you recompile the driver ,and if it still not work ,you can try to use a high version of asterisk

Hi,

As adviced, I have upgraded the whole system and recompiled the drivers. Details are

CentOS 6
Asterisk 1.8.7.1
Dahdi 2.5.0.2
Chan_extra 1.2
G400E

Now when I do "module load chan_extra.so", it returns
Unable to load module chan_extra.so
Command 'module load chan_extra.so' failed.
WARNING[725]: loader.c:449 load_dynamic_module: Error loading module 'chan_extra.so': /usr/lib/asterisk/modules/chan_extra.so: undefined symbol: gsm_get_version
WARNING[725]: loader.c:839 load_resource: Module 'chan_extra.so' could not be loaded.

Any ideas?

Hi
Sometime the driver can't be loaded successfuly. You can try to do like this:
First, stop asterisk;
second,execute the following commands:
modprobe -r opvxg4xx
modprobe opvxg4xx
dahdi_genconf
asterisk -vvvvvvvvvvvvgc
Then use "gsm show spans"on the cli.
If the problem still there, please contact me.My MSN:[email protected]

Hi
We have tested the environment you are using, and everything is ok.So,I recommend you reinstall the driver, and make sure the driver and asterisk are installed successfully. If you have any problem,I will online waiting for you.

Hi,

I have downgraded the asterisk from 1.8.7.1 to 1.8.7.0 and same error but going further down to 1.8.6.0 removed the error.

But the original issue of echo (as described above) still remains even after upgrading.
